I always knew my parents hated me, but I never knew that they would just send me off to some new place. I'm a fucking junior and I was planning on getting as far away from Neptune as possible when I went to college--totally looking into Vassar, after all--but no, instead they have to remind me of how unwanted I am and send me away now. Whatever.

Remember cheerleaders, regular practice starts next Monday. I don't care if school doesn't start for another two weeks and you still think you're on vacation--if you're not at practice for the next two weeks you're off the squad and I know there are plenty of students who would love to take your place.
No, Veronica, I will not make an exception for you. I'll drag your ass to practice myself if I have to.
Boyfriends are not allowed at practice. I made the exception during the summer meetings because they weren't official anyway but now my girls do not need the distraction. The only exception to this is Logan, because I need someone to keep me in water during practices and quick make-out sessions during breaks.
Other than that, there are no last minute drops? No sudden long-term injuries that I haven't heard about? No one failed any classes? If you're off the squad for any reason and you know this now, tell me. There's no point in drawing it out.
For those interested, get me your names as soon as possible. We have some seniors who graduated and a couple of drops from last year, but I won't have the final count of openings until school starts back up.
In other news, Vocal Adrenaline is really on it's game this year. It's a shame that it will be Jesse's last. He's really been an amazing part of the team. However, while his loss next year will be a great one, we can definitely overcome it. |
